meet our founder
this is kate
She's a business-owner and floral fairy-godmother who's passion has always been rooted in nature. Born and raised in Massachusetts, she started her floral design training at 16, working under the watchful eye of a seasoned designer in her hometown. Over the next 10 years, she went on to study politics, business and marketing in college, all while working and training as a floral designer on the side. A few years later, while contemplating pursuing her MBA in Vermont, she decided to instead pursue her ‘real life’ MBA by buying the floral design studio she was working in, becoming a business owner at the age of 23.
Over the next 4 years, she grew personally and professionally, and developed a reputation for romantic, garden-inspired arrangements. Now, thoroughly loving this life of a creative entrepreneur, she crafts floral arrangements for celebrations on mountainsides, in beautiful vineyards, countryside estates and charming inns. Total boss babe, dog mom to Leo and Cali the Cavapoos, loving wife and adoring auntie. Fluent in New Girl and Parks 'n Rec quotes. She can lift very heavy things at CrossFit, and also perfectly place the most delicate flowers. When she's not in the studio, you can find her out on the Chesapeake, or hiking with her husband and pups. You should probably just leave her there, she's tired and hasn't slept for days.

Erin is our resident bride-to-be. When not planning her October wedding, you'll find her designing beautiful arrangements for our clients' weddings. Originally from Ellicott City, she now lives in Annapolis with her sweet fiance Ryan and their fur-baby Dwayne. On her days off, you'll find her enjoying a good mystery novel or paddle boarding on the Chesapeake. Her favorite flowers are blush ranunculus and all kinds of dahlias, and she will never say no to a good banana creme pie.

Alyssa is our very own crafting queen and organizational guru. She loves the thrill of the hunt in a thrift store on her days off and thrives in the details of a wedding day. Her favorite flowers are wisteria and juliet garden roses and most weeks you'll find her designing countless compote arrangements while listening to 70's rock. Originally from Frederick, she's new to Annapolis and eager to explore all the best spots to eat and enjoy an Old Fashioned.

Sienna joined the team as our spring and summer intern and we loved her so much, we begged her to stay longer. She is our all-hands-on-deck worker-bee and bouquet queen. When she's not in the gym or at Towson in class, you can find her hanging at the beach with friends and family. Originally from Frederick, her days off include planning future trips while sipping on a vanilla iced latte.
