Meet Lisa!

Spotlight

Lisa is one of our amazinggggg Floral Freelancers at Floret + Vine. She is such a joy to be around and is crazy talented! Lisa graduated from the Flower School of New York and has been freelancing for over a year now. You’d think she’s been doing this for decades because her work is absolute perfection. She said “I love having the opportunity to see how different studios approach their design, business models, client interaction, and team development differently. Exposure to so many different styles allows me the greatest opportunity to keep learning and growing myself.”

Lisa is a gal of all trades

Lisa has enjoyed several varied chapters in her professional journey. Lisa has worked with a number of community-based nonprofits as a program coordinator, she has worked as a multimedia designer/ developer, and she has done communications work as well! I saved the best for last though… she launched and ran her own vegan bakery from 2010 – 2013 called Dirty Carrots. How amazing is that?! Her business was such a success that she was selected by Baltimore Magazine as creating Baltimore’s 3rd best cupcake! Now, she is loving the floral freelance life and we are so happy to have her as part of the Floret + Vine team. She truly completes us!

Lisa instantly connected with the Floret + Vine team like we had known her for many years! I don’t know if it’s because her favorite food is pizza or because she loves all things flowers… but we so are delighted she is a part of our team. During Lisa’s free time, she loves to go on adventures and explore with her husband Michael. Whether that be to new sites or restaurants in their hometown (Baltimore), road tripping for weekend getaways, or cavorting across the planet. Their favorite thing to do together is making new discoveries … so special! Lisa also loves to spend time with her family, whether that’s in Baltimore or at her family’s farm.
